About
Hi, I’m Tine (short for Christine, pronounced “teen”).
For more than twenty years, I have worked at the intersection of design, research, strategy, and leadership. I have led teams, shaped strategy, and helped organizations navigate complexity in industries ranging from healthcare, utilities, and government to startups and nonprofits. Along the way, I’ve learned that leadership is challenging, sometimes messy, and often more fun when approached with curiosity and a sense of play.
The biggest challenges in leadership are rarely about missing skills. They are the unseen patterns in how we think, respond, and relate. These patterns shape how we communicate, where we invest our energy, and how others experience us as leaders.
This insight led me from organizational leadership into professional coaching. I am almost finished with my NYU Professional Coaching certificate and have trained extensively with Clear and Open, deepening my understanding of human behavior, presence, and transformational growth. I bring both practical experience and formal training to help leaders uncover what shapes their work so they can choose how to show up with confidence and enjoy the process along the way.
How I show up as a coach
My coaching is not about quick fixes or polished advice. It is about helping you understand the patterns that influence your leadership and supporting you to make intentional changes that last.
Across my career I have:
Led and coached managers and cross-functional teams in a variety of industries, helping people grow in their roles and realize their potential
Served in strategic leadership roles, including corporate strategy and oversight of bids and proposals, gaining insight into how organizations operate at scale
Built and operationalized research-driven strategies that guide decision-making and drive outcomes
Mentored, taught, and coached colleagues across multiple companies, supporting their growth as leaders, strategists, and collaborators
Founded and ran consulting businesses, learning firsthand how to navigate complexity, take initiative, and create value for clients
These experiences allow me to bring a wide lens to coaching, helping leaders see the bigger picture, understand themselves in context, and apply insight in ways that create meaningful change.
What I care about in leadership
I work with leaders who are ready to:
Notice what is not working beneath the surface
Explore their own patterns and impact
Reflect, challenge assumptions, and make intentional changes
Lead with influence that is sustainable, authentic, and aligned with their values
My coaching approach centers on:
Clarity through awareness – noticing the patterns and beliefs that influence your decisions, behaviors, and leadership impact
Relational skill – communicating in ways that build trust, strengthen connection, and create influence without friction
Presence under pressure – staying grounded, adaptable, and effective when challenges or uncertainty arise
Alignment with reality – seeing situations clearly, challenging limiting beliefs, and unblocking yourself to take intentional action
Impactful leadership – translating insight and growth into authentic leadership that inspires, motivates, and drives results
I believe the most powerful leadership arises from self-knowledge, presence, and purpose. When done intentionally, it can be energizing, fun, and rewarding.
Outside of coaching
I bring the same curiosity and sense of play to life outside work. I am committed to continuous learning, supportive of diverse voices and perspectives, and interested in how personal growth and professional influence are deeply interconnected. I’m also a musician and perform with my band, The Ukuladies of Spokane, spreading musical joy in our community. You can expect these values, and a little fun, to show up in how I coach and how I partner with you in your growth.
If you are wondering whether coaching could help
The best way to explore it is intentionally. Let’s talk about where you are, what you care about changing, and whether coaching is the right container for that. Visit the Services page to learn more about how we might work together or start with a free discovery call.
