About

I help leaders bridge the gap from where they are today to who they want to become

I recognize that transitions are not events; they are processes. Coaching helps you work through endings, navigate the uncertainty of what’s between, and emerge into new beginnings that feel internally integrated and externally effective.

My path to leadership coaching

I’m Tine Reese (“Tine” is short for Christine).

I have spent decades navigating transitions that required me to grow into new levels of responsibility. I have started and run businesses, stepped into leadership and management roles I did not expect, led people across industries including government contracting and civic technology, and managed teams while navigating significant personal transitions.

Through these experiences, one pattern became clear: Technical skill and effort could only take me so far. Sustainable leadership growth required self-awareness and intentional action. The way I think, the beliefs I hold, and the patterns I default to under pressure directly influenced how I led and the results I created.

As a manager and coach, I have supported people across career stages, from emerging leaders to seasoned professionals. I understand the complexity of leading in environments where stakes are high, change is constant, and performance matters.

My coaching integrates personal and leadership growth

As a coach, I help clients examine the internal drivers that shape how you show up: your thoughts, assumptions, emotional responses, and behavioral patterns. These factors directly impact your influence, decision-making, and effectiveness.

Together, we:

  • Identify beliefs that limit your authority or visibility

  • Uncover blind spots affecting team dynamics and performance

  • Strengthen executive presence and grounded decision-making

  • Align your leadership behavior with your values and strategic goals

This work develops leaders who are clearer, steadier, and more effective under pressure. Over time, you begin to lead with greater confidence, clarity, and ease. Decisions become more deliberate. Communication strengthens. Teams respond differently. Business outcomes improve.

In our work together, I balance compassion with directness. I will support you and challenge you becuase meaningful growth requires both.

Frameworks that support the work

I integrate:

  • Intentional Change Theory, to structure meaningful, sustained growth toward your ideal self

  • Enneagram insights, to deepen understanding of leadership style and relational patterns

  • Somatic awareness practices, to build presence and resilience under pressure

This work uncovers blind spots, deconstructs limiting beliefs, and strengthens the internal foundation required for sustainable leadership success.

Who I Work With & Common Breakthroughs

I work with people who are ready to be introspective, face challenges honestly, and make meaningful change. Some are navigating life, career, or leadership transitions, while others are in the midst of change and want support in sustaining progress. My clients often discover that the obstacles they experience professionally are intertwined with their personal lives, and coaching helps them address both.

Common breakthroughs my clients experience include:

  • See patterns and beliefs that have been holding them back, so they can make different choices, break cycles, and step confidently into new opportunities such as a promotion, career pivot, or starting a business.

  • Gain clarity on what truly matters, helping prioritize energy, make confident decisions, and take meaningful steps toward personal or professional milestones.

  • Feel confidence and freedom after releasing unhelpful thought patterns, allowing them to show up authentically, pursue goals and new ventures, or navigate life transitions with ease.

  • Align actions with values and vision, creating fulfillment, improving outcomes in work and life, and building sustainable habits that support growth and purpose.

After our work together, clients often feel a renewed sense of direction, with a clear inner compass, realistic understanding of where they are now, and optimism about where they are going. They leave sessions with practical steps they can take immediately, along with insight that can continue to guide them well beyond our coaching engagements.

A Grounded Foundation

My Buddhist practice, deeply informed by Julia Hayes at Souls Center Spokane and my engagement with the Spokane Sangha, shapes how I help clients see themselves and their experiences with greater clarity and compassion. It strengthens my ability to support leaders in working skillfully with stress, negative habit energy, and emotional reactivity.

In May 2026, I will complete my NYU Professional Coaching certificate. I have also trained extensively with Clear and Open, deepening my understanding of presence, human behavior, and transformational growth.

This combination of executive experience, spiritual grounding, and formal training allows me to work at the intersection of personal insight and professional impact.
